This is what happened when 24 women showed up

The winter cohort is a wrap, springtime sessions are in-progress, and summer enrollment is open

It's been an incredible two weeks — and if you're new here, I'm so glad you found your way to Create Space.

Welcome to All the New Faces

Thanks to some wonderful coverage from Axios Charlotte, Scoop Charlotte, and the Charlotte Optimist, Create Space made a lot of new friends recently and I couldn't be more grateful. If you're new to this community — welcome. You landed somewhere special.

Create Space is a women's community & creativity program I founded in spring 2025. It's a 10-week experience that blends hands-on creative sessions — think watercolor, sourdough, embroidery, candle making — with guided self-discovery, all inside a small, intentional cohort of women. It's a space where you don't have to plan, perform, or have it together. Women walk away with a clearer sense of who they are, deep connections with women they might not have ever met, and often a newfound interest in a hobby they never knew they'd care about.

24 Women Joined Create Space

This week I welcomed 24 women into Create Space.  We all met for the first time on Monday and Tuesday.  What happened in that space was exactly why I do this work. Women reconnecting with their essence — which sounds simple until you realize how rarely we actually do it. We lose our true selves to the roles we play. Daughter, mom, professional, partner, volunteer, caregiver. It takes intention — and a little space — to remember who you actually are underneath all of that.

What I'm Hearing From Women Right Now

Somethings I've heard from the women I've been meeting with this week:

  • Women are exhausted from making decisions. Even choosing one hobby to explore feels like too much — which is exactly why Create Space works the way it does. I make all of those decisions and do all the planning so you can just show up.

  • Women are craving real connection. Not surface level. Not small talk. Real talk, with women who get it.

  • So many of the women who enrolled consider themselves perfectionists who spend their lives doing everything for everyone else — and rarely, if ever, do something impactful for themselves.

Can you relate to any of that? If so...

Summer Cohort — Now Open for Enrollment

The Summer Create Space cohort is officially open — and spots are limited to 15 women, so I don't want you to miss it.

Right now, I have one cohort scheduled in the evening. I would love to add a daytime option if there's enough interest — so if daytime works better for you, send me a note and let me know. If I hear from enough of you, I'll make it happen!

Otherwise, if you're ready to claim your spot in the evening cohort, enroll now!  Have questions?  Check out the FAQ.

The Winter Cohort Closes

Ten weeks have never gone so fast. During our final meeting, I cried listening to feedback the women had on their experiences.

"It's so rare to be able to find a space and a group of women where I can show up exactly who I am and feel comfortable."

And she's not alone. Here's what another Create Space woman shared:

"I've never connected so deeply with women with so many different backgrounds, in different phases of life, and in such a fast way. It normally takes months or even years to connect the way we did."

And the best part? It's not goodbye. This group continues on through the Create Space Collective — curated monthly events designed to keep the curiosity alive and the connections growing.

Speaking of the Collective — Color Analysis Event

One more thing — for Create Space Collective members, I'm hosting a color analysis event later this month. There is nothing superficial about Create Space. I love when women show up in their sweatpants or lounge clothes — that comfort is the point. But there's also something to be said for the confidence that comes from wearing the right colors. I've been wanting to pick up a few new pieces for my spring wardrobe and I'm holding off until I know my colors. Check the virtual community for the link to enroll. If you're not a member of the Collective (yet!) but are interested in joining, send me a note — there might be room!

On Wednesday afternoon I napped 😊

I jokingly told Tuesday's daytime group that I was going to nap after all the activities early in the week — but it wasn't a joke. I LOVE to facilitate and host, but I'm also an introvert and needed time to decompress (plus, the time change, amiright?). It was glorious. You probably deserve a nap too.

If you're new here and wondering what this community is about:

  • It's friendship.

  • It's creativity.

  • It's trying things that are new to you.

  • It's remembering who you are outside of the roles you play.

And if you're someone who keeps almost signing up — this might be your nudge.

Thank you for being part of this growing, generous, creative community. Send me a note anytime (marybeth@findyourmore.services) — I read every email and would love to hear from you.

With so much gratitude,

MaryBeth 💛
